I just finished composing, arranging and recording a theme song for Director Baron Von Mrkva’s new Sci-Fi Series, which is scheduled to start shooting in the next couple of months!
It was great to get back in the studio and get the creative juices flowing, especially since I was going to be working solely with drum programs on this project, which was something new for me.
I also enjoyed the challenge of doing the mastering with the tools I had on hand, rather than using a “mastering service” as I’d previously done, with mixed results I might add. As it turns out, there are plenty of tools in the recording suite that I’m currently using (Cubase), I just needed to identify them and learn a bit about how they function.
